Utah Turf Rebate - Save Big On Your Turf Project!

WASHINGTON COUNTY WATER OFFICIALS OFFER $2 PER SQUARE FOOT IN TURF BUYBACK!

Have you considered making the change to artificial turf? With a new turf buyback incentive, there’s never been a better time! Due to the ongoing drought, Washington County Water Conservancy District is offering residents up to a $2 per square foot turf rebate. This is the most offered by a water district in the state of Utah. It’s no secret that Washington County has been experiencing the same drought conditions plaguing most of the southwest. According to water district officials, incorporating more sustainable landscapes is crucial to extending the limited water supply of the area. In reaction to our dwindling water supply, Washington County has become increasingly aggressive in finding and promoting solutions to prevent water waste. A large emphasis has been put on the benefits of using artificial turf to limit unnecessary water usage.

The district has stated that it will pay home and business owners $2 a foot for the first 5,000 square feet and $1 a square foot afterward up to $50,000. In accordance with the rebate, projects and installations must be pre-approved prior to the conversion. Eligible cities in Washington County include St. George, Washington, Santa Clara, Ivins, and La Verkin.
